Abstract

This session focuses on key evidence from Becta's current research programme, addressing a core theme: What is the role of schools in technology-supported learning? It draws together findings from studies of school 'e-maturity', learner digital literacy, parental engagement, curriculum and pedagogy, and technology's impact on learning, discussing what we know about the value of technology-supported learning in a school setting and what the evidence says about how schools can support learning effectively using technology.
